Not sure if it helps (disregard if not), but me and eclectic-tech made some experiments regarding this in the following thread:In the Windows registry, the scaling of wallpaper is controlled by the "WallpaperStyle" value located within the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop" key, where different numerical values correspond to different scaling methods like "fill", "stretch", "fit", "tile", or "center" depending on the setting chosen; essentially dictating how the wallpaper image will be adjusted to fit the screen size.

As already mentioned elsewhere, this desktop thing in the newest Windows might have an impact on the ImageMagick / MagickMeter skins too, in some cases.
